Check out "Food Matters"
"One quarter of what we eat keeps us alive ... three-quarters of what we eat keeps our doctors alive!"
What would be the positive changes to one's body, mind and spirit if "living" food were substituted for the standard American diet (the SAD diet). Does eating fresh, natural foods in abundance -- UNCOOKED -- bring new-found energy and stamina and joy and zest for life? Or is it all hype? What really happens when we let go of processed, refined and animal foods? Do cells really rejuvenate themselves through food that has its life force intact? And how does it change us?

Ever since childhood, I've had a soft spot in my heart for the impoverished nature lover, Francis ... so here's Sarah singing words to a prayer I knew by heart as a kid. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Feeling wonderful these days. Seems the more I simplify, the lighter I feel ... in all ways. Made three car runs to the local GoodWill shop in my town Saturday, dropping off many boxes of STUFF ... stuff I don't need, stuff I don't want, stuff I will never miss. And it's nice stuff too so people will be very blessed by it all. Yup ... decluttering is becoming my favorite past time and the "incredible lightness of being" I'm enjoying as a result feels like some kinda high!
Yes, I'm still in the process of the "big move" (into my little apartment) :-) I just extended my move time by two weeks as I've discovered I have more stuff than I ever dreamed I had ... plus I just don't want to be rushed with some unrealistic looming "deadline" hanging over my head. Prepping for this move has changed me in certain important ways. For example, I've made a pact with myself that I'll only buy something new if it's an absolute need that cannot be met any other way. Before I spend money on smething new, I'll either get it by barter or on CraigsList or at my local GoodWill (but ours here in nearby Peekskill is pretty lousy ... so don't think I'll be browsing too much there). The point is that if I can meet the need by any other means other than purchasing an item new, I will.
