Day 15: Spring Fever Hitting Big Time!

This is the time of year that finds me at my best. When God designed springtime, I think it was well beyond even the "genious" of GOD! (To me, it's the closest thing to perfection that we have on earth.) I mean everything natural -- everything -- exudes and bubbles over with LIFE: brooks, streams, rivers, plants, flowers, trees, lanes, pathways, meadows, gardens, city flower pots and sidewalk cracks (even), lakes, hills, dales, valleys, and farmers' markets! Everywhere nature is singing and dancing. And singing and dancing to me are synonomous with joy.

The apartment search goes on -- but there have been some pretty slim pickins' as of late (e.g., last night I went to look at a flat in a three-family house and saw overstuffed couches and a chair sitting on the porch! Needless to say, I didn't stick around. Couches on the front porch are a dead giveaway that maybe myself and the people who lounge on them might not have a whole lot in common. Think Sanford and Son!)

But despite the hovels I've been viewing, I'm maintaining an upbeat, joyfully expectant attitude that the perfect place for me will open up soon. It has never failed that one does, whenever I've relocated in the past, so why should this time be different, I figure. I've drawn up my little "wish list" and have presented it to the Landlord of it all ("The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof" comes to mind) so no worries.
